AGM – Report

Thank you to all those who were able to join the AGM. 14 participants attended.

The constitution document was agreed and approved by show of hands at the AGM. The document was emailed to all Friends and is also up-loaded onto the website at

A minimum of 3 roles are required for the formal committee. This will help to ensure all our communications and campaign work is coordinated. The following were duly elected by show of hands at the AGM.

Chair – jointly held by Cathy and Chris Winch of 38 Finsbury Park Avenue
Secretary – jointly held by Anna Corlyon and Paul Taylor of 28 Finsbury Park Avenue
Site Communications – held by Jessica Hummel of 11 Surrey Gardens – the role is focused on engagement with St Ann’s Meadows Ltd.

The FoHSS regular meetings, attended by all Friends, will move to a fortnightly online Zoom meeting on Tuesdays at 1900. The next meeting will be held on 13 October. Additional meetings, either of the committee, working groups or the whole of the friends, will be called as required and notified in advance by email. This approach was agreed by show of hands at the AGM. Finally – the AGM, constitution and elected committee is the way making us a recognised body. FoHSS is based on the support of, and action by, all friends to achieve our vision and aim for the future. We look forward to continuing to work together.
